Linhai

The Jiangsu Linhai Group tradition, established in China in 1956 in the manufacture of small engines, combines with Yamaha Motor’s advanced technology and focus on innovation.

The two manufacturers entered a partnership in 1994, bringing reliable, high-performance and, importantly, affordable vehicles and engines to market. Following the agreement with Yamaha Motor, Linhai entered the ATV market in 2001 and quickly became a serious competitor to renowned brands such as Suzuki, Kawasaki, and even Yamaha, offering comparable quality at a much lower price.

Linhai consequently grew to produce more than 500,000 ATVs per year, equipped with engines covering a broad range of needs, from 50 cc to 600 cc. Linhai ATVs were the first road-registerable ATVs in Romania and also the best-selling ATVs.

Linhai invests heavily in technology development and product quality. It operates an enterprise technology centre, a national postdoctoral research centre, advanced manufacturing systems comprising more than 40 specialised production lines, and a team of over 1,600 employees with expertise across multiple fields and industries.

In addition to ATVs, Linhai manufactures many other motorised vehicles and tools: UTVs, small-capacity engines, motorcycles, scooters, electric bicycles, forestry machinery, fire engines, gardening equipment, and irrigation systems for sports fields.
