TGB is a company with a rich history. It is the successor to Taiwan Vespa, founded in 1965. TGB took over and continued Piaggio’s production programme for the Taiwanese market, as well as the manufacture of parts and components for the renowned Italian company. TGB was Taiwan’s first manufacturer of automatic CVT transmissions and gradually became a major CVT supplier to leading manufacturers including Polaris, Piaggio, Vespa, Rotax, Peugeot, Minarelli, Morini, and SYM.

Today, it is one of the world’s largest CVT manufacturers. The TGB story continues with a future focus on developing a new generation of off-road vehicles.
